Released back in August this year, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is undoubtedly one of the best smartphones in the price range that launched this year. Poco F1 was the first phone to be released under the name Poco, which is a sub-brand of Xiaomi, and it quickly became the top choice on the price range due to its offering top-tier specs at an extremely affordable price tag. If you are looking for a phone that can deliver a flagship-level performance and comes with a price tag of the mid-range smartphones, the Pocophone F1 should be an excellent service.
The Xiaomi Poco F1 is a successful smartphone of Xiaomi this year
It has only been around 4 months since the Pocophone F1 was launched. However, Xiaomi doesn't even slow down a bit as it is reportedly working on the successor to its Poco F1. A new phone has just been spotted on the benchmarking site Geekbench, and it will be released under the name of Xiaomi Poco F2.
The listing on Geekbench also reveals several key specs of the upcoming Poco F2, and they look pretty interesting. That is because the upcoming phone is listed to come with the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 processor. However, since the existing Poco F1 has the same processor, many people have been speculating that the Poco F2 will be most likely to run the next Qualcomm’s flagship, the Snapdragon 855, which was tipped in earlier December.
The listing on Geekbench also shows that the Poco F2 will come packed 6GB RAM and that is the most likely base variant of the phone. In the software front, the phone will most likely run Android 9 Pie with MIUI on top. Nonetheless, with the success of the Poco F1, we are eager to see the Poco F2 and how it competes against other phones in the price range.
