The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro were launched last year as an upper mid-range smartphone with a focus on the camera performance. They are the first two smartphones in the world to come with a 108MP sensor and the Pro version is currently ranked sixth in the DXOMark ranking of smartphones with the best cameras. Now, a new leak suggests that the series could be welcoming the third member called Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite.
The leak is shared by leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore and he was not sure about the exact identity of the smartphone. However, he later confirmed in a different tweet that the device is indeed the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite. According to the leakster, the handset has M2002F4LG model number. Just like the Mi Note 10, it will have a 6.47-inch screen, but the source doesn’t say it is an LCD or AMOLED panel. We also have no idea whether Xiaomi will use the same water-drop notch design or the recently-popular punch-hole display.
Being a Lite model, the device will have a 64MP main sensor instead of a 108MP unit in a quad-camera cluster on the rear. The other modules in the setup are 5MP + 2MP + 8MP sensors. On the front, the 32MP selfie shooter is replaced by a 16MP unit on the Mi Note 10 Lite. It is revealed to carry a Snapdragon 730 chipset at the helm along with two unknown memory configurations.
It will be equipped with the same 5,260 mAh battery and 30W fast charging support as its siblings. To take care of the software side of things, it will be pre-installed with Android 10. For now, there is no word about its launch date or pricing, but more information could surface in the near future.
