Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Won't Launch in August; The Company Confirmed

The next smartphone in the Mi Mix series, the Mi Mix 4 won't launch in the next month as officially confirmed by the company.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will not launch in the near future, so you should expect to wait for a long time for the Xiaomi flagship.  A Chinee netizen asked Xiaomi’s co-founder & President Lin Bin on Weibo if the brand is planning to announce the Mi Mix 4 on 4 August and the answer was ‘No’. The smartphones in the Mi Mix series usually launches in September or October. To recall, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 was first announced on 11 September 2017, whereas the brand launched the Mi Mix 3 on 25 October last year. Therefore, the Mi Mix 4 might be launched around that time.

While it is confirmed that the company is indeed working on its next flagship Mi Mix 4, there haven’t been many details about the phone leaked online. However, Xiaomi’s president Lin Bin did say that the smartphone will feature a ‘Super Art Business Flagship’. The phone will most likely come with an innovative design as well as the most powerful hardware specs. To recall, last year’s Mi Mix 3 featured a slider design that managed to capture a lot of people’s attention.

According to recent rumors, the upcoming Mi Mix 4 will likely feature a periscope lens camera tech, which is said to produce lossless photos of subjects placed at a distance. The phone is also expected to sport a better sensor than the Samsung GW1 64MP one, an on-screen fingerprint reader, a massive 100W quick charging solution, and an impressive screen-to-body ratio. Being a Xiaomi’s flagship, it is reasonable to expect it to make use of the latest and most powerful processor like the Snapdragon 855 or Snapdragon 855 SoC. There might also be a 5G-supported model launched in the next Mi Mix series.
