As previously rumored, Xiaomi just confirms that the next-generation Mi MIX 4 will make its debut on 24 September. The brand made the announcement today after it released an official teaser poster for the release event last night. The poster also reveals that the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro will also be unveiled at the event, possibly as a 5G-supported smartphone. Aside from that, we have also known that the China-based company is going to announce two more products, which are a new Xiaomi TV and MIUI 11. The news was revealed in a public post by the brand’s social media.

An interesting rumor suggests that the new series isn’t called Mi MIX 4 in the teaser. It is instead being called MIX only. Previous leaks also hinted that the brand might call the MIX 4 series as Mix Alpha. However, the teaser doesn’t mention anything about that. As for design and features, Xiaomi still keeps its under wraps until now.
For now, the handset is tipped to come with a curved OLED panel with 2K resolution, which will be the first for the series. Moreover, Xiaomi might use the pop-up camera design on its new phone as well. Finally, previous rumors and leaks hinted that the upcoming Mi MIX 4 might be the first phone from the brand to feature a 108MP sensor made by Samsung.
As for the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro, the company has already confirmed that it will feature the new Mi Charge Turbo feature that has 30W quick wireless charging solution. The handset is also most likely support the next-generation 5G network as well. As mentioned, two more products are slated to be introduced at the event, and they are a new Xiaomi TV and MIUI 11. While the former is tipped to feature 8K resolution, the MIUI 11 will likely carry several significant changes to Xiaomi’s ad system on its software.
