Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Might Be Launched On 10 January

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is tipped to feature the new under-display selfie camera and a Snapdragon 855 SoC.

The famous Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is said to release a new addition to its Xiaomi Mi Mix series in the upcoming year. Many people have been hoping to see the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 and this is certainly the news they are waiting for. However, there have already been several false reports regarding the phone, especially in appearance. Now, a new report surfaces online, claiming the launch date of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 to be 10 January. You should note that this report is still unverified, so you need to take it with a grain of salt.

There have been quite a few leaks about the Mi Mix 4, but it seems none of them are true.

According to the poster, there will be a special launch event by Xiaomi at the CES 2020 on 10 January. The event’s theme is “Only for Innovations”. You can also see the outline of a phone on the poster. Most importantly, there is the word ‘MIX’ hidden at the top of the photo. This means Xiaomi might have some announcements at the event regarding the phone. As per speculations, the Mi Mix 4 might be the first phone from Xiaomi to feature the under-display selfie camera. Again, you should take all of the information with a pinch of salt, considering the fact that the brand recently debunked all photos of the phone.

As per its listing on Geebench, the Mi MIX 4 scored 720 points and 2,776 points on the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The device on the listing features Android 9.0 Pie and 6GB RAM. Looking at its benchmarking scores, the handset is pretty much the same as the Xiaomi Mi 9, which achieved single-core score of 735 points and multi-core store of 2,658 points. This raises the speculations that Xiaomi might use a Snapdragon 855 SoC on the Mix 4, just like it did on the Mi 9.
