Xiaomi had been expected to launch a new addition to the MIX series called Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 in the event held in September, but the company surprised the tech world with the launch of the Mi MIX Alpha with a screen wrapped around the body, instead of MIX 4 as expected.

Soon after, the Chinese manufacturer continued to confirm that it would not launch any other Mi MIX smartphones this year. However, according to the latest leak, it seems that Xiaomi will not temporarily postpone Mi MIX 4 to make way for Mi MIX Alpha. Instead, it is likely that this phone will soon be launched in the near future.

Recently, the live image of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 has been leaked online, confirming that it will have a curved screen with QuadHD resolution. In addition, the device will also have a new option in the settings, allowing users to change the scan frequency of the screen to 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz easily.
Notably, instead of owning a hole-punched design or a pop-up camera, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will have a dual selfie camera built underneath the screen. However, the pixel density at where selfie cameras are placed is significantly reduced and users can still easily see the shadow of this camera cluster even without opening the camera application.

In terms of specifications, Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is expected to have the hardware power coming from Qualcomm's high-end Snapdragon 855+ processor, combined with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. The battery packed with the device is tipped to carry a capacity of 4500mAh and support 40W fast charging.
Regarding the camera, the handset is rumored to have a 4-camera system on the back, with a primary sensor of 108MP and 20MP + 12MP + 5MP sensors. Meanwhile, the dual selfie camera cluster is integrated below the screen including 12MP + 2MP sensors. In addition, the device is also equipped with dual speakers and may be released later this month.
