Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is preparing for the launch of its highly-anticipated Mi Mix 4 flagship on 24 September with some surprises. We could believe this information as it is from a quite reputable source.

First, the handset was set to arrive in mid-September. However, later the company decided to delay the launch as several rival phone makers also launch their devices like Huawei Mate 30 Pro in this period. As per people related to the matter, the phone will come with the first 108MP sensor in the world made by Samsung. The sensor was introduced in August, and recently a rumor has appeared online, which suggests that Xiaomi will adopt this new camera sensor.
Apart from the 108MP Samsung sensor, the upcoming handset will also pack with a 12MP periscope sensor and a 16MP ultra wide-angle sensor, with allegedly 5X optical zoom capabilities.
Several other highlighted features of the phone are 5G connectivity support, reverse wireless charging and 12GB RAM. It is likely that the phone will be available in 2 variants with different chipsets – Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon 855 Plus. Additionally, the Mi MIX 4 will flaunt a curved screen which has the support for 2K resolution. Also, the handset will be packed with a 4,500mAh cell with the support for 30W fast charging technology. Previous leaks also suggested that the handset is expected to have 12GB of RAM and 1TB internal storage with UFS 3.0 support. In terms of software, the phone will run the new MIUI 11 based on Android 10 at launch, which will arrive along with the handset on 24 September.
However, as there has been no official information available at the month, we should only take it with a pinch of salt and wait for more details in the coming time.
