Xiaomi Mi CC9, Mi CC9e Price & Specifications Leaked Online

Xiaomi just announced a brand new Mi CC series that targets the youth a couple of days ago. The first smartphones in the series are said to be Mi CC9e and Mi CC9. New leaks have surfaced online and reveal the prices of the upcoming phones. Apart from those, an alleged live image of the upcoming Mi CC9 has also posted online and it shows a phone with a full-screen display. Moreover, the leaked specs suggest that both phones will feature a triple rear camera setup and an on-screen fingerprint reader. The brand already confirmed that the duo will make their debut in China on 2 July. 

Mi CC9 & Mi CC9e: Expected Price & Live Photo

According to tipster Mukul Sharma Tweet, the Xiaomi Mi CC9e and Xiaomi Mi CC9 will launch in its home market in multiple variants. The Xiaomi Mi CC9 variant with 6GB RAM / 128GB storage will be retailed at RMB 2,599 (Around Rs. 26,100), whereas the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage option will come with a price of RMB 2,799 (around Rs. 28,100), and the top-end variant with 8GB RAM / 256GB storage will set you back by RMB 3,099 (around Rs. 31,200). 

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi CC9e is tipped to be retailed at RMB 1,599 (around Rs. 16,000) for the 6GB RAM / 64GB storage option. There will be two more options of the phone with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage and 8GB RAM /256GB storage. They will be priced at RMB1,899 (around Rs. 19,100) and RMB 2,199 (around Rs. 22,100). 

Moving to the live image of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 that has just been posted on Weibo. The photo only shows the front of a smartphone which is said to be the upcoming Mi CC9. You can easily see that the phone will boast a full-screen design without any notch, punch hole or any sort on the front. It also seems to feature a relatively thin chin at the bottom. Since there is no notch or anything on the front, it might feature a pop-up selfie camera design that have been seen on the recently-launched Redmi K20 smartphones.

Sharma also shared a few specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi CC9e and Xiaomi Mi CC9. I will start with the CC9e first. The handset is tipped to come with a 5.97-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 2,340 x 1,080p resolution. The handset should be driven by a Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor and fueled by a decent 3,500 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. At the back, it is expected to feature a triple camera setup,  including a 48MP Sony IMX 583 sensor, an 8MP shooter, and a 5MP third sensor. For software, it will most likely ship with Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 which is based on Android 9 Pie. Other possible features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a USB-C port, Hi-Res audio support, and IR Blaster. 

Mi CC9: Expected specifications

Moving to the Xiaomi CC9, it is tipped to sport a 6.39-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 1,080 x 2,340p resolution. Powering the handset will likely be the same Snapdragon 730 SoC as the Mi CC9e. However, it will pack a beefy 4,000 mAh battery which is larger than that of its sibling and support 27W fast charging.

In terms of camera, the handset will also come with a triple camera setup at the back. However, its setup will be better than the one on the CC9e. It includes a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor, a 16MP shooter, and a 12MP snapper. On the front, it is said to feature a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats. Finally, it will also likely feature an on-screen fingerprint reader, USB-C port, and more.
