Xiaomi Mi CC9, Mi CC9e Photo, Full Specs Allegedly Spotted on TENAA

Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi Mi CC9, Mi CC9e, and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition in China soon and some details of the three phones have been surfaced online.

Last week, Chinese electronics company Xiaomi has announced a new smartphone series called CC. In the CC series, Xiaomi targets the younger generation with its selfie-centric smartphone. On Monday, the company confirmed that it is going to launch the first three phones in CC series - Mi CC9, Mi CC9e, and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition. On the TENAA certification site, these three phones were spotted. The listing reveals all hardware and software related specifications of Mi CC9e and Mi CC9. Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Mi CC9 sports a triple rear camera module with a 48 MP, and 32 MP front selfie lens and also confirmed that the phone will be packed with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB onboard storage option as well.

These phones did not come out of the blue. Before its launch, rumours and leaks that were circulating over the internet for a long period of time revealed almost everything about these phones.
Expected Prices for the Mi CC and Mi CC9e
Earlier, the pricing of both smartphones leaked online. The base variant of Mi CC9, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB onboard storage carries cost of CNY 2,599 (INR 26,200), the 8 GB + 128 GB storage will be priced at CNY 2,799 (INR 28,200), and the premium variant of 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage will be priced at CNY 3,099 (INR 31,300). On the other hand, Mi CC9e will cost CNY 1,599 (INR 16,100) for the 6 GB + 64 GB storage variant, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB variant carries cost of CNY 1,899 (INR 19,200) and the last 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage variant will be priced at CNY 2,199 (INR 22,200).

Specifications revealed on TENAA
According to the TENAA listings, the Mi CC9 comes with a waterdrop notch, in-screen fingerprint sensor and at the back, company offers triple camera setup as it has already been confirmed. TENAA listing also confirms that it is powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, the company did not reveal the name of the chipset yet. The company reported that the Snapdragon 730 chipset will power the Mi CC9, the listing is also pointing towards the same. Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e are expected to debut with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on front and back. The company is expected to launch the Mi CC9 in multiple variants of 4GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. The Mi CC9 is fueled with 3,940 mAh battery.
Xiaomi's second model M1906F9SC suggests that the Mi CC9e sports 6.08-inch AMOLED display, a 3,940 mAh battery which is also packed in Mi CC9. TENAA also mentioned that the phone gets a triple back camera setup and waterdrop-style notch as well. There is only a small difference between both models, that the Mi CC9 comes with the branding of Meitu at the back, while Mi CC9e gets the official branding of Xiaomi.

Rumours floating on the internet about the Mi CC9 say that the phone gets triple rear camera module with a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary lens and a third 12MP sensor. The Mi CC9e will get Snapdragon 710 chipset and this model also sports a triple rear camera setup which includes 48 MP Sony IMX583 primary sensor, an 8 MP secondary camera and a 5 MP sensor. Both Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e appear only in single White colour. It is expected that the company would also launch the phones in a few other colour shades.
For now, the phones will only debut in China, and it is not confirmed whether the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e will come to India or not. We will keep you updated, so stay tuned.
