Xiaomi Mi A3 Tipped To Debut In India On August 23

Xiaomi has launched its new Android phone – the Mi A3 in Asia region and several European countries. However, the handset has not been unveiled in the Indian market yet. Rumour has it that the device is expected to debut in the country on 23 August.

But the leak did not mention the pricing of the handset. But it is expected that the phone’s price in India will be lower than the price of €250 (roughly Rs. 19,800) in the European market. Therefore, it could be sold at about Rs. 17,500. We still need to wait until the release to know.

The handset was unveiled with a 6.0-inch HD+ AMOLED screen with an on-screen fingerprint sensor. Meanwhile, both the Mi A1 and A2 sport FHD displays. The company weirdly downgraded the phone’s screen resolution to only HD+. Anyway, the handset is still an impressive phone. It is powered by a Snapdragon 665 SoC and has a big 4,030 mAh battery with the 18W fast charging technology. The battery also supports QC 3.0 over USB-C port. Additionally, the handset comes with an audio jack.
And as an Android One device, the Mi A3 phone runs a stock Android interface and will get guaranteed 2 years of Android updates. In terms of imaging capabilities, the phone features a triple rear camera setup including a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as a 2MP depth camera. The handset is able to record 4K videos at 30fps. On the front, the handset features a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It is known that the handset is available in 2 storage version - 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. In addition, it also offers a shared microSD card slot for to expand the storage by as much as 256GB
