When Xiaomi was gearing up to launch Xiaomi Mi CC9 and CC9e, the information about the next-gen Android One smartphones of the brand appeared as well. This is due to a leak suggesting that the Xiaomi Mi CC9 and CC9e probably debuted as the Mi A3 and A3 Lite in some markets. And recently the Mi A3’s renders revealing its specifications have appeared online.
Accordingly, the alleged Mi A3 will be available in 3 color options including white, black and blue, which is similar to the CC9.

As it is identical to the CC9 phone, we do not need to recall its design again. Instead, it’s worth mentioning that the Mi A3 will feature a headphone jack, which is removed in its predecessor – Mi A2. Also, there is a new Android One logo at the phone’s bottom left.

As per Winfuture.de - the source of the leaked images and specifications, the upcoming Mi A3 phone will sport a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,240-pixel resolution, a dot drop notch and an on-screen fingerprint sensor. It is known that the notch houses a 32MP front-facing sensor.
The device features a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.79, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC instead of Snapdragon 710 SoC found in the CC9, meaning that the phone is a rebranded model of the Mi CC9 phone with the chipset of the Mi CC9e. However, Roland Quandt advised he is not sure about the specifications, so we only should take the information with a pinch of salt.

The phone will feature 4GB RAM + 64GB or 128GB storage with storage expansion support that the brand eliminated from the Mi A2. Powering the device is a big 4,000 mAh battery with an unknown fast charging tech support. Also, the device will come with a USB-C port as well as an IR blaster for electronic appliances’ control. In terms of software, it runs Android 9.0 Pie at launch.
The Mi A3 is set to debut soon and come to Germany as well, according to Winfuture reports. Also, it could be present in some countries in the EU comprising of the UK.
