Xiaomi Mi A3 & Mi A3 Lite To Pack Snapdragon 730 & Snapdragon 675 Respectively

If the Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite indeed are powered by a Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 675 SoC, it would be significant upgrades over their predecessors.

The key specs of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite have just been leaked ahead of their official launch. Tipster Ishan Agarwal in collaboration with MySmartPrice has revealed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi A3 carries the ‘bamboo_sprout’ codename, while ‘cosmos_spout’ is the codename of Mi A3 Lite. It is in line with the previous report from XDA Developers. The report suggests that Xiaomi will go for the Snapdragon 675 SoC on one of the two while the other will be powered by a Snapdragon 730 SoC, probably the Mi A3 Lite and Mi A3, respectively. In addition, the series is said to carry quite a few similarities to the Mi CC9 series that launched recently.

However, it’s worth noting that the tipster himself said that he is not 100% sure about it. If this is true, the forthcoming Mi A3 phones will be more powerful than the Xiaomi Mi CC9 series that was recently announced. The brand hasn’t revealed the official launch date or any teaser about the phones, but they might be coming out soon.

Additionally, both of the Mi A3 handsets will come with the triple camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter of the recently-launched Xiaomi Mi CC9 smartphones. They are also tipped to feature similar design to the Xiaomi Mi CC9 duo. If that is true, it means that they will come with a headphone jack.

Stay tuned for more information about these Android phones. We expect more details surfacing online in the coming time.
