However, it is expected to be another version of the newly-launched Redmi K20. At present, the phone has surfaced on the benchmarking platform Geekbench, and its listing on the site confirms that.
According to the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Mi 9T will run Android 9 Pie at launch. Under the hood, it will be powered by an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with a 6GB of RAM. The SoC name isn’t revealed in the motherboard part which says “davinci” only.

The Redmi K20 duo sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5 and 403 PPI density. The display features Corning Gorilla Glass protective layer. Under the hood, while the Redmi K20 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC, the base K20 comes with a Snapdragon 730 chipset. In the camera department, both phones are equipped with a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP sensor + an 8MP sensor + 13MP sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP sensor for taking selfies and video recording. A typical difference between the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro is the battery. The base K20 is backed with a 4,000mAh battery supporting the 18W fast charging while the K20 Pro with a similar battery supports the 27W fast charging tech.
