Xiaomi has just released the new high-end Xiaomi Mi 10T series last month, so we don’t expect to see any soon. Hence, there is pretty much no information regarding Xiaomi Mi 11 specifications at the moment. However, Xiaomi always uses the latest chipset on its flagship smartphone and the Mi 11 should be no exception.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Mi 11 will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 875 chipset. Aside from that, the tipster also suggests that the handset could make its debut in January. With that, it could be among the early smartphones to feature the next-gen top-end chipset from Qualcomm. Aside from Xiaomi, Samsung is reportedly working on Snapdragon 875-powered phones, alleged named Samsung Galaxy S21 & S21 Ultra, both of which are also said to be released in the US in January.
Sadly, the tipster also claims that the Mi 11 could be exclusive to the Chinese market for some time before making its way to other markets. As mentioned, all we know for now is that the handset will rock the Snapdragon 875, which is rumored to be fabricated on the 5nm process, similar to that of the A14 Bionic chipset. It will also reportedly feature three Cortex-A78 cores, four Cortex-A55 cores, and one Cortex-X1 core.

Rumor has it that the Snapdragon 875 chipset will be 10 percent more powerful as well as 20 percent more power-efficient than its predecessor, Snapdragon 865. However, those increases also come at a cost as the chipset will likely be $100 more expensive than the Snapdragon 865, which is equal to around Rs. 7,500. That means the Mi 11 might be more expensive than the Mi 10. The expected launch date of the chipset is December 1st, so we might have to wait for a while before getting more details about it.
