The Xiaomi Mi 11 will be officially launched on December 28, becoming the first smartphone to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 5nm processor. Ahead of the official launch, the handset has visited Geekbench and the listing reveals the performance of this phone.
The smartphone is listed on GeekBench under the codename Xiaomi M2011K2C, which is the same model number as the one on the 3C certification and the Chinese mobile network certification website.
The GeekBench listing revealed that the smartphone will boot Android 11, most likely with MIUI 12 running on top. The smartphone is equipped with a processor code-named ARM Venus, which is the newly-announced Snapdragon 888, paired with an Andreno 660 GPU and 12GB of RAM.
With a single-core performance score of 1,135 and a multi-core score of 3,642, the Xiaomi Mi 11 outperforms Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with the Exynos 2100 chipset, previously leaked with respective scores of 1,006 and 3,059.
Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Mi 11 launch event will take place on December 28 in China. However, there is no information about the global launch date, but it is possible that Xiaomi will launch the Mi 11 globally before January 2021.
Xiaomi Mi 11: Expected specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 11 specs will reportedly include a 6.67” curved AMOLED panel with the punch-hole design. The display will support Quad-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As mentioned above, the phone will most likely be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset. It is listed on Geekbench with 12GB RAM, but we expect to see an 8GB RAM variant as well.
The color variants of the Mi 11 are tipped to be Blue, White, and Smoke Purple. On the imaging front, it is said to come with a triple camera setup, including a 108MP main sensor. Fueling the phone will be a 5,000 mAh battery, which supports 55W fast charging technology. Finally, the Xiaomi Mi 11 will run on the latest Android 11 with MIUI 12 running on top.
