In addition to the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro duo introduced by Xiaomi at the launch event yesterday, the Chinese phone maker also launched a Lite version called Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, aiming at the mid-range segment. This is the first smartphone in the world to be equipped with a Snapdragon 750G chipset that Qualcomm announced last month.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite: Price & Availability
The device comes in two memory variants: 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite price starts at €280 (around Rs. 24,000) for the base option and €330 (around Rs. 28,500) for the top variant. You can get the 6GB + 64GB option with an early bird deal from Xiaomi. Users will only have to pay €250, which is equal to around Rs. 21,600.
The handset will go on sales in Europe on October 13th in three color variants, including Atlantic Blue, Pearl Gray, and Rose Gold Beach. For now, we have no idea if Xiaomi is planning to bring this phone to India.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite: Specifications & Features
In terms of design, Mi 10T Lite has an identical appearance to the POCO X3 NFC launched early last month. The handset only has a plastic back. The main camera cluster also has a similar design, featuring a total of four cameras. They include a 64MP wide-angle camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. In addition, the device also has a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
The Mi 10T Lite is equipped with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel, using the popular punch-hole design. This screen has a 120Hz refresh rate similar to the POCO X3 NFC. Because of the LCD panel, the fingerprint sensor of the device can only be located on the side or at the back. This time, the Mi 10T Lite gets a side-mounted one.
In terms of hardware configuration, as mentioned above, Mi 10T Lite is the first smartphone in the world equipped with Snapdragon 750G chipset from Qualcomm. The phone comes in a single memory configuration: 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It is fueled by a 4,820 mAh battery, that supports 33W fast charging technology. Finally, the device runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box.
