After launching Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro in February last year, Xiaomi has just continued to launch a new smartphone in the same series, called Mi 10S. This is considered an upgraded version of Mi 10, with a few improvements in both specifications and design.
Xiaomi Mi 10S: Price & Availability
Users can now pre-order the Mi 10S or wait until March 12 to purchase the phone at a starting price of CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 37,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. Meanwhile, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage versions are priced at CNY 3,499 (around Rs. 39,200) and CNY 3,799 (around Rs. 42,500), respectively.
Xiaomi Mi 10S: Specifications & Features
The Mi 10S features a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display, Full HD + (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. The screen of the device has a 90Hz refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, and gets a punch-hole design to accommodate the selfie camera.
Inside, the Mi 10S carries the hardware power of Qualcomm's newly launched Snapdragon 870 processor, instead of the Snapdragon 865 chipset like the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro duo. The phone has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage.
Moving to the back, Xiaomi Mi 10S is equipped with a vertically arranged camera cluster with a similar design to that of the Mi 10 Ultra. The rear camera cluster of the handset includes a main sensor of 108MP f / 1.9, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth-measuring camera. In addition, the phone also has a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling.
Under the hood, the Mi 10S comes with a 4,780mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging via USB-C port, 30W wireless fast charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging. The device is integrated with a fingerprint sensor below the screen, an infrared sensor to control electronic devices, Hi-Res Audio, and a dual Harman Kardon speaker system.
The phone supports dual nano-standard SIM, 5G (SA / NSA) networking, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and NFC. The device is pre-installed with Android operating system 11 with MIUI 12 interface.
