Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite: Price in India, Specifications, Review - Everything You Need

Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro duo in China, with a design that's not too impressive. Xiaomi takes a page from Samsung’s book and uses the punch-hole display design. The display also has two curved edges, while the rear camera cluster is not too special and looks not so different from their predecessor Mi 9. Now, it seems like Xiaomi will launch another version of Mi 10, called Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite will be the version launched in the international market, while in China it may be called Xiaomi Mi CC10. And as usual, this will be a more affordable version. However, besides, it can be seen that Mi 10 Lite will also have some design changes, according to leaked renders.

The main difference lies in the rear camera cluster. While the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro rear camera clusters are arranged vertically, the Mi 10 Lite has a circular camera cluster in the middle. There are diagonal lines to separate its quad rear cameras, which look quite interesting. The main camera sensor has a more prominent white circle.

The front design of Mi 10 Lite is quite similar to the two siblings when there is a punch-hole at the top left corner of the display to house a camera. However, it seems like the edges of the display are not curved.

Currently leaked information about this smartphone is still quite limited. But it can be quite sure that Xiaomi will not be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 865 processor on Mi 10 Lite, instead, it can be Snapdragon 765G or 730G as well as 6GB or 8GB RAM.

After launching the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro earlier this month, Xiaomi has just officially launched the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G - its latest mid-range smartphone at an event held in Europe.

The purpose of Xiaomi when launching the Mi 10 Lite 5G is to make 5G accessible to more users, so it is not surprising that this phone starts at just 349 Euro (around Rs. 29,000) for the 64GB storage version. 

Meanwhile, the more advanced version with 128GB of storage has a retail price of 399 Euro (around Rs. 33,500). The product is expected to hit the stores in early May in three color options, including White, Gray, and Blue.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite: Specifications

The Mi 10 Lite 5G is Xiaomi's first mid-range 5G phone for the international market. The product possesses a rather strange design, unlike any other smartphone that Xiaomi (or even Redmi) has been introduced before.

Instead of using the same punch-hole design as its siblings, the Mi 10 Lite 5G is equipped with an AMOLED screen with a waterdrop-shaped notch to accommodate the selfie camera. It has a back made of glass, which houses a rear camera setup placed inside a rectangular module identical to the Redmi Note 9 Pro but is located in the top left corner, instead of being in the middle.

The Mi 10 Lite 5G has a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution. It possesses the hardware power of Qualcomm's Snapdagon 765G processor, combined with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage

Moving to the back, Mi 10 Lite 5G carries a quad-camera system, including a 48MP main sensor, ultra-wide-angle sensor, depth sensor, and macro camera. Meanwhile, the selfie camera on the front of the device has a resolution of 16MP.

The Mi 10 Lite 5G comes with a 4160mAh battery, supports 20W fast charging and has an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. In addition, the device also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, supports dual-mode 5G, 2 SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, NFC and USB-C port.
