Xiaomi finally confirms that the Xiaomi Mi 10 launch event in India will take place on 31st March and it will be livestreamed from 12:30 pm. The brand also revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 pre-orders in India will start on the same day from 3:00 pm. This launch event is only three days behind the Mi 10 global launch on 27th March. Sadly, tipster Mukul Sharma said that Xiaomi might only release the vanilla Xiaomi Mi 10 in the Indian market. In addition, Xiaomi’s Global VP Manu Kumar Jain also shared a bad news that the Xiaomi Mi 10 price in India could be higher than other markets because of the direct import, depreciating rupee, and the recently-increased GST rate.
Xiaomi Mi 10: Price in India & Availability
The price of the phone in China is as follows:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: CNY 3,999, equivalent to Rs. 40,900
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: CNY 4,299, equivalent to Rs. 43,900
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: CNY 4,699, equivalent to Rs. 48,000
We believe that the Xiaomi Mi 10 price in India for the base variant could be around Rs. 45,000 and become Xiaomi’s most expensive smartphone launched in India. That could also be the reason why the company decided not to release the Mi 10 Pro.
