Xiaomi’s forthcoming flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi Mi 10 series is still mostly under wraps. For now, we have only heard about the brand’s president and co-founder Lin Bin mentioned that there would be a Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro on his social media account. That means there will also be a vanilla Xiaomi Mi 10. In fact, the existence of the Xiaomi Mi 10 was, in a way, confirmed after the launch of the Snapdragon 865 SoC, which is tipped to power the phone.

A new rumored on Weibo reveals several details about the vanilla Mi 10, specifically the battery capacity. According to the source, the handset will carry a battery capacity of around 4,500 to 4,800mAh. To make things even more vague, the source also said that the actual battery capacity of the phone could be 100mAh more or less.
Even though this new information seems to be somewhat unreliable, it is still quite interesting in relation to a recent rumor about the Xiaomi flagship. That rumor suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro’s battery could be charged from zero to 100 percent in just 35 minutes. This Xiaomi’s new-generation fast-charging technology sounds quite interesting. It should be Xiaomi’s 66W charger (11V over 6A) that was certified earlier in the year in China. It does sound promising as Oppo already used its 65W fast charging tech on its recently-released Oppo Reno Ace. Oppo’s 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 tech allowed the Reno Ace to fully charge its 4,000mAh battery in 28 minutes.

However, we are not sure whether both the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will support the 66W fast charging solution, or it is only available on the Pro model. Anyway, we will keep updating more information about the Mi 10 lineup and the Xiaomi’s 66W tech as well as the company’s 50W wireless charging tech, which is tipped to be announced in the second half of next year. As for the Xiaomi Mi 10 launch in India, we are not sure whether the phone will make its way to India, considering the fact its predecessor Mi 9 hasn't launched in the country as well.
