Xiaomi launched its latest flagship series, the Xiaomi Mi 10, earlier this month. Besides the Mi 10 & Mi 10 Pro duo, it seems that the Chinese manufacturer is also planning to launch a special variant with a transparent back, just like what it did on the Xiaomi Mi 9 series.

Recently, Lei Jun - CEO of Xiaomi has just uploaded a picture of Mi 10 on Weibo, with the caption "Xiaomi Mi 10 Transparent Edition". However, all we can see is just a Mi 10 that has a built-in wallpaper - a photo of the entire internal components of the device.
Although Lei Jun did not explicitly state that Xiaomi intends to launch the Mi 10 with a transparent back, the images, and captions he shared rekindled rumors that the device might be available in the near future.

Of course, this is not the first time Xiaomi has launched a phone with a transparent back. Earlier, we saw this special variant on its Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi 9 series, respectively called Mi 8 Explorer Edition and Mi 9 Explorer Edition.
Speaking of hardware configuration, Xiaomi Mi 10 is equipped with a 6.7 inch curved AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling frequency, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Inside, the device owns the hardware power of the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor, combined with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage.

The device supports dual-mode 5G connectivity, has a Vapor Chamber liquid cooling system with multiple layers of graphite and uses AI to monitor and control the internal temperature. In addition, Xiaomi is also selling an external cooling fan model for this phone.
Regarding the camera, Mi 10 is equipped with quad rear cameras, including a 108MP main sensor, 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro sensor. Meanwhile, the selfie camera of the device is located in the cut-out on the front and has a 20MP resolution.
The Mi 10 comes pre-installed with Android 10 with the latest MIUI 11 interface on top. It comes with a 4,780mAh battery, supports 30W fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging.
