Black Shark 4 might be the first smartphone from Xiaomi’s gaming brand Black Shark in 2021, as stated by the brand’s CEO Luo Yuzhou yesterday.

Although the launch date was not disclosed, CEO Luo Yuzhou has confirmed that the Black Shark 4 will be equipped with 120W fast charging technology, much faster than the 65W of the Black Shark 3.
The battery capacity of the upcoming smartphone will be slightly lower. While the Black Shark 3 is equipped with a 4,750 mAh battery, the Black Shark 3 will get a 4,500 mAh battery. However, the Black Shark 4's full charge time will be only 15 minutes, a lot faster than the 40 minutes of the Black Shark 3.
Today, Black Shark CEO revealed on Weibo that a prototype model of the Black Shark 4 achieved the highest benchmark score ever on the Chinese benchmark AnTutu, 7,88,505 points. The score is significantly higher than that of the newly-released Xiaomi Mi 11 (around 7,10,000), iQOO 7 (around 7,52,000) or the not-yet-released OPPO Find X3 (around 7,71,000).

According to the CEO, this amazing accomplishment is from the dedication of Black Shark engineers, but he is yet to be satisfied as his goal is apparently reaching the 8,00,000 mark on AnTuTu.
With this impressive result, the Black Shark 4 should arrive with Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 888. Other than that, we believe that the handset will feature an OLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and gaming features.
For now, we have no details about the Black Shark 4 launch date, but it should be released in a few weeks. To recall, the Black Shark 3 was announced in early March last year.
