Surprisingly, it seems the brand will not offer the Black Shark 2 Pro in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants.

Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro is slated to launch in China tomorrow. Ahead of its official launch, the handset has already passed through AnTuTu and Geekbench along with several key specifications. After that, the brand also shared a teaser video, which confirmed that the handset would feature the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. Now, a new leak just surfaced online and revealed the RAM, storage, and color variants of the upcoming phone. Meanwhile, another leak also shows us the phone’s front design.

The Black Shark 2 Pro is said to come in three memory configurations -- 12GB of RAM / 128GB of storage, 12GB of RAM / 256GB of storage, and 12GB of RAM / 512GB of storage. Therefore, the phone might be available in 6/8GB of RAM model like its predecessor Black Shark 2. The leak also suggests that the company will offer the phone in three colour options such as Ice Shades, Blue, and Black.

Moving to the leaked photo, the Black Shark 2 Pro seems to feature a notch-less design just like the Black Shark 2. There will likely be a thick bezel at the top for a selfie camera and sensors. At the bottom, the phone in the photo is held in such a way that it’s hard to say whether it has a thick or thin chin. However, we highly believe that the Black Shark 2 Pro will still sport the same notch-free screen with a tall aspect ratio like the Black Shark 2. In addition, the handset is also known to support the DC dimming 2.0 feature.

The exact capacity of the handset is still under wraps at the moment. However, according to its listing on 3C spotted early this month, the phone might pack a 27W fast charger. It is already up for reservations in China, though the exact pricing of the device still hasn’t been revealed yet.
