Today (February 28), Vivo has just launched a new mid-range phone in China, called Vivo Z6 5G. This is Vivo's first Snapdragon 765G smartphone, which features a punch-screen design, a large 5,000mAh battery, supports up to 44W fast charging and comes with a starting price of CNY 2,298 (around Rs. 23,700).

The handset will be up for pre-ordering in China from February 29 and officially launched on March 8. The Vivo Z6 5G price starts at CNY 2,298 yuan (around Rs. 23,700) for 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage model, while 8GB of RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 2,598 (around Rs. 26,800). It is available in three color options - Dark Blue, White, and Aurora.
Vivo Z6 5G: Specifications & features
The Vivo Z6 5G has physical dimensions of 163.99 x 75.91 x 9.16mm and weighs 201 grams. The handset is equipped with a 6.57-inch IPS LCD screen with a punch-hole design, supporting Full-HD + resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. The display accounts for 90.74% of the front of the device.
Moving to the back, Vivo Z6 5G has a vertically arranged quad-camera system, housed in a rather large rectangular module. This camera cluster includes a 48MP main sensor with an aperture of f / 1.79 and a 6P lens, an 8MP f / 2.2 sensor with a 112-degree viewing angle, a 2MP f / 2.4 macro sensor and a 2MP f / 2.4 depth sensor. In addition, the device also has a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling.
Inside, the Vivo Z6 5G has the hardware power of a Snapdragon 765G processor, supporting dual-mode 5G network. It also comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage and supports storage expansion via a microSD card slot.
The phone has a huge battery capacity of up to 5,000mAh, supports 44W SuperFlash Charge fast charging technology. According to Vivo's announcement, the device can charge from 0% to 70% in just 35 minutes, as well as 100% charge in 65 minutes. In addition, the handset is also equipped with a PC-graded liquid cooling technology.
Vivo Z6 5G comes pre-installed with Android 10 with FunTouch OS 10 interface out of the box and supports the Multi-Turbo 3.0 feature with the promise of bringing a great gaming experience for gamers. Other notable features include dual Wi-Fi, Face Unlock, fingerprint sensor on the back, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, GPS, USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
