Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo Z1 Pro for the Indian market, which was rumored to be a re-badged version of the Vivo Z5x that made its debut in China in May. However, the Vivo Z5x runs on the Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, while the upcoming Vivo Z1 Pro is said to come with a Snapdragon 712 SoC instead. If it is true, the Z1 Pro will be the first handset in the Indian market to come with the chipset.
Furthermore, the Vivo Z1 Pro will likely come with a 32MP selfie camera instead of the 16MP shooter on the Z5x. In terms of battery, the forthcoming phone is expected to pack the same 5,000 mAh battery of the Z5x with support for 18W fast charging. To recall, the Vivo Z5x comes with a 6.53-inch Full-HD display with a hole punch on the top of the display. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. In the camera department, the has a triple camera setup on the rear, including a 16MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.78, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper with an f/2.2 lens, and an 8MP f/2.4 depth unit. There is also a 16MP selfie camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture. For software, the phone ships with the company's Funtouch OS 9.0 which is based on Android 9 Pie. It is fueled by a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. For biometric authentication, it features a fingerprint reader on the rear.
