Vivo Y15 With 5,000mAh Battery & Helio P22 SoC Launched In India

After launching the Vivo Y15 in China earlier in the month, Vivo finally brings the phone to the Indian market with a 5,000mAh battery and an Helio P22 SoC.

Vivo already launched the Vivo Y15 in China earlier this month. Now, the phone is about to make its debut in India. This handset is launched as a new offering in the Vivo Y series. The handset comes with triple rear cameras and a 6.53-inch screen with a dewdrop notch on top. Notably, it is powered by a whopping 5,000 mAh battery under the hood.

Vivo Y15: Price & Availability

The handset will be priced at Rs. 13,990 in India for the single variant with 4GB of RAM + 64GB of storage. It will come in two color options, Burgundy Red and Aqua Blue. You will be able to purchase the phone via Amazon India, Flipkart, Tata CliQ, the company’s online store, and offline stores as well.

There are some launch offers along with the upcoming Vivo Y15. You can get 0 percent interest from Bajaj Finserve, HDBFS, IDFC Bank, Home Credit, HDFC Bank, Pinelabs Debit & Credit cards when you buy the phone in offline stores. Buyers will also get an additional Rs. 1,000 off on exchange as well as no-cost EMI up to nine months. Lastly, Reliance Jio also offers benefits that worth Rs. 4,000 with free 3TB data.

Vivo Y15: Specifications & Features

The Vivo Y15 comes with a 6.35-inch panel with HD+ resolution and a dewdrop notch on top. Powering the phone is an Helio P22 processor paired with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage which is expandable using a dedicated microSD card slot.

In terms of camera, the handset features triple rear cameras, including a 13MP main sensor, an 8MP 120-degree super-wide angle camera, and a third 2MP depth unit. On the front, there is a 16MP camera with f/2.0 lens for taking selfies and video calling.

For security, it has a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear. Other features include a massive 5,000 mAh battery under the hood and Android 9.0 Pie-based FuntouchOS v9.0.
