Vivo Y12 With 5,000mAh Battery, Triple Rear Camera Setup Going On Sale This Week

Vivo phone maker has silently unveiled a new Y handset, dubbed the Vivo Y12 in the Indian market. The smartphone has appeared online for a period of time. It is now going on sales in retail stores. As per a dealership partner of Vivo, the handset will be available in India this week in a few days. The V12 features a triple rear camera setup, a big battery supporting the reverse charging tech, and Halo display. The handset runs FunTouch OS based on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box and has affordable pricing.
Vivo Y12: Price In India
The phone is available in two memory variants. While the base 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant costs Rs. 11,999, the 3GB RAM + 64GB internal storage option is priced at Rs. 12,990. The smartphone is tipped to come to retail stores in India in one day or two.
Vivo Y12: Specifications

In terms of specifications, the Y12 sports a 6.35-in Halo HD+ Fullview screen with an aspect ratio of 19.3:9 and an 89% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone packs the MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz under the hood, backed with up to 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. Regarding the camera, the Y12 features a three rear cameras including an 8MP camera (f/2.2), a 13MP camera (f/2.2) and a 2MP camera (f/2.4). Besides, there is a front-facing 8MP lens (f/2.0) with AI support and AI Face Beauty feature.

In addition, the phone runs Android 9.0 Pie-based FuntouchOS 9 out-of-the-box. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, and face unlock feature. Other connectivity options include A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi, and dual-SIM slots. The smartphone is backed with a 5,000mAh cell with the reverse charging technology to be able to recharge other smartphones.

For further information, the Vivo Y15 (2019) has been unveiled in India on May 28. The handset features a 6.35-inch Halo Fullview Display with HD+ resolution and a dewdrop notch. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is similar to the new Y12. Besides, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. It runs Android 9.0 Pied-based FuntouchOS 9 at launch. The phone is available in two color options including Burgundy Red and Aqua Blue with the affordable price tag of Rs. 13,999 in India.
