The Vivo V17 was launched last week with a Snapdragon 675 SoC and an L-shaped quad rear camera cluster. Now, the handset is up for sale in India for the first time.
Vivo V17: Price
The handset is only available in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage and it is priced at Rs. 22,990. You can purchase the handset in either Midnight Black or Glacier Ice Blue color variants on Vivo India’s website, Amazon India, Flipkart, and offline stores in the country.
Vivo V17: Specifications & Features
There are two smartphones under Vivo brand that are called Vivo V17. While the Russian version has quad camera setup housed in a diamond-shaped module, the quad cameras on the Indian version is placed in a L-shaped module. However, both of them feature a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP macro, 2MP depth-sensing camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
The Indian V17 is different from the one that's sold in Russia. It's powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC and boasts a slightly larger (6.44") AMOLED display with a punch hole in the top-right corner for the 32MP snapper.
Under the hood, the phone gets processing power from a Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. On the front, it sports a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display, supporting Full-HD+ resolution. At the back, its quad rear camera cluster consists of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP dedicated macro camera. On the front, it uses a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats.
Fueling the phone is a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology. In the software department, it ships with Android 9 Pie out of the box with FunTouch 9.2 on top. Security-wise, the brand equips it with an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authetication.
