The Vivo V17 has just been released as a new mid-range offering in India. The handset is a direct successor to the Vivo V15 launched earlier in the year. The handset comes with a hole-punch display, which the company calls ‘iView Display’, a quad-camera cluster housed in an L-shaped module. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 675 chipset, coupled with 8GB RAM. Other notable highlights include an in-display fingerprint sensor, 32MP selfie shooter, and a 4,500 mAh battery. You might have heard a Vivo V17 model launched in Russia as a rebranded model of the Vivo S1 Pro with a diamond-shaped camera cluster. However, this version in India is a brand new model, which is coincidentally named Vivo V17.
Vivo V17: Availability & Price

The handset is priced at Rs. 22,990 for the single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is available in Glacier Ice and Midnight Ocean variants and will be available for sale from 17 December via online channels like Amazon, Paytm Mall, Tata CLiQ, and Flipkart. You also can purchase the device via offline stores across the country. The brand announced that buyers can get a free pair of Vivo XE710 that worth Rs. 1,999 included in the box. Launch offer also includes cashback from major banks in the country.
Vivo V17: Features & Specifications
The Vivo V17 is packed with a 6.44-inch OLED ‘iView’ screen that supports FHD+ resolution, and a small cut-out to house a selfie camera. For security, it features an in-display fingerprint reader under the display. Ticking at its core is a Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with 8GB RAM / 128GB of storage, which is expandable with a microSD card. On the software side of things, it comes pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie and FunTouchOS 9 on top. Under the hood, there is a 4,500 mAh battery fueling the device with 18W quick charging solution.

Moving to the imaging front, the handset is equipped with four cameras at the back. They are a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP dedicated macro camera. The camera cluster is supported by an LED flash, Ultra Stable video, Super Night mode, AI makeup, AR stickers, portrait mode, and more. On the front, it rocks a 32MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.45.
