The Vivo V15 and Vivo V15 Pro have been reportedly discontinued by Vivo in India. Recent information suggests that the brand is currently working on the next Vivo V series called Vivo V17 and it might be announced before the Diwali festival season, which is going to take place in India in October. Now, a new Vivo phone dubbed Vivo V17 Neo has been spotted on Google Play Console, and it might be a part of the V17 series.

According to reliable sources cited in 91mobiles, the Vivo V17 will be the first phone in India to feature a pop-up selfie camera module with two cameras on it. Moreover, the handset might sport a quad-camera setup at its back as well. However, the source isn’t confident about that. And these are all the details about the phone at the moment.

Since the Diwali festival is one of the most popular ones in India, phone makers have been known for releasing new smartphones ahead of it. And Vivo India also seems to be planning to do the same by introducing the Vivo V17 before the festival. Moreover, the brand is speculated to launch the V17 Pro alongside the V17.

Recently, the Vivo V17 Neo with 1907N model number was spotted on a Google Play listing. Its moniker suggests that the phone might be launched under the forthcoming Vivo V17 series in India. The Google Play listing also shows that it will come with a dewdrop-notch screen with FHD+ (2,340 x 1,080p) resolution. Powering the phone will be the MediaTek MT6768, which is also known as Helio P65. The chipset was recently seen on the newly-launched Vivo S1. The processor will be paired with 4GB RAM, but there is a possibility of one or two more variants.

As per the listing, the upcoming V17 NEo will ship with FunTouchOS which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t reveal any details regarding the phone’s cameras and battery capacity.
