The Vivo V17 Pro is confirmed to launch in India on 20 September, while leaks suggest that the handset will be available for sale from 27 September.

The details regarding the pre-order and availability of the Vivo V17 Pro have been leaked online, ahead of its official launch on September 20. Now, the company has officially confirmed the release to be indeed on September 20. The handset is tipped to go on sale in India on September 27. However, it will only be available in several states on the first day and will come to other places the next day. If you are interested, you can pre-order the phone from September 19.

Aside from that, the brand is said to host Super Day sale for the phone in several states on September 27. It will also run Scratch and Win offer for interested fans in India. If you want to participate in this offer, you will need to purchase a new Vivo smartphone from the retail stores. Vivo V17 Pro: Specifications

The Vivo V17 Pro will be a new addition to the V series. The handset is tipped to feature six cameras, four of which will be on the back. The rear camera setup includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP depth sensor, a 2MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP telephoto sensor. On the front, the dual selfie camera system will include a 32MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, both of which will be placed in a pop-up module.

The handset is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ ( 2,440 x 1,080p) resolution, on-screen fingerprint reader, and scratch-resistant glass. It might also come with FunTouchOS and Snapdragon 675 chipset under the hood. 8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage are also expected on this phone. Fueling the phone will likely be a 4,100 mAh battery.

As for the pricing, the Vivo V17 Pro might be priced around the Rs. 30,000 mark and available in at least two color variants.
