Vivo V17 Pro With Dual Pop-Up Selfie Cameras & Quad Rear Cameras Unveiled in India

The Vivo V17 Pro is finally official in India as the first phone with a dual pop-up selfie camera setup and quad cameras at the back.

The Vivo V17 Pro has just been announced in India at a launch event this week. The handset arrives as a direct successor to the Vivo V15 Pro that debuted earlier in the year. The phone has the same display but features two selfie cameras instead of only one like its predecessor. That makes the V17 Pro the first phone in the country to feature pop-up dual front cameras. At the back, it is equipped with a total of four cameras, including a 48MP sensor and an 8MP macro lens. Under the hood, it draws power from a snapdragon 675 SoC, 8GB RAM, 128GB of storage.
Vivo V17 Pro: Price
The price of the Vivo V17 Pro is Rs. 29,990 in India for the single option with 8GB RAM / 128GB of storage. It is already available for pre-order while you have to wait 27 September to purchase the phone via Flipkart, the company’s E-store, offline stores, and Amazon India.
Launch offers include a cashback of 10 percent for those purchasing the phone with ICICI & HDFC Bank credit and debit cards or EMI transactions on cards of HDFC Bank. Moreover, buyers of the V17 Pro by 8 October will be able to replace its display for free one time.
Vivo V17 Pro: Specifications
The handset is packed with a 6.59" Super AMOLED display, which the brand calls Ultra-FullView display. It has FHD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Moreover, there is also a fingerprint scanner underneath the screen for biometric security, and it is said to be quicker than the previous-generation sensor. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 675 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. Software-wise, it ships with FunTouch OS 9.1 at launch that is based on Android 9 Pie. Fueling the entire setup is a 4,100 mAh battery that can be quickly charged with the 18W Dual-Engine quick charging solution.
In terms of camera, the device features a quad-camera system, including a 48MP SonyIMX582 main sensor, a 13MP telephoto sensor with 2x zoom, an 8MP super-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Its cameras also support the brand’s AI algorithm to further improve the outcomes, 10x zoom, and several camera modes such as Super Macro mode, bokeh mode, and Super Night mode. On the front, there are two selfie cameras housed in a pop-up module, which are a 32MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP secondary shooter with f/2.2 aperture. They support Super wide-angle images and video, Super Night selfie, Pose master filter with lighting effect, and AI makeup.
