Vivo is scheduled to launch its V17 lineup in the Indian market in September. Previously, the series is said to be the first one to have 2 pop-up selfie cameras. Now, several weeks ahead of the release, a real-time photo of the V17 Pro surfaced online. Accordingly, the images showed that the phone would come with a vertically-aligned quad rear camera module with a LED flash. In addition, the handset is probably available in two color options, each a shade of blue.
One of which was revealed in a teaser for Big Boss 13 at the beginning of this week. Accordingly, in the latest leaked photo, you can see the V17 Pro variant will come with a quad-camera setup on the back, which was reported before. It is the first phone from Vivo to feature four rear cameras. However, the specifications of the cameras remain unknown.
Additionally, we do not see the presence of the phone’s rear-aligned fingerprint sensor, so it is likely to be put under the screen like the V15 Pro. Currently, the information on the front design has not been revealed. However, with the rising selfie camera design, we hope the handset will have an amazing screen-to-body ratio. In terms of software, the device is expected to run FunTouch OS based on Android 9 Pie.
Moreover, there are still few details of RAM, storage, battery, and display size at present. However, with the pricing history of the company, the V17 Pro could be priced at under Rs.30,000. Finally, the phone is expected to debut before Diwali, according to the report.
Separately, the company is preparing to introduce the mid-range Z1X in the Indian market on 6 September. The phone will have an on-screen fingerprint scanner, a Snapdragon SoC, FlashCharge support, USB-C port, and AMOLED screen. The brand also announced that the Z1X would be more expensive than the Z1 Pro and will go on sales exclusively through Flipkart in the country.
