Vivo already announced the Vivo U20 in India last month. Now, the Chinese brand released a new variant of the phone with 8GB of RAM. To recall, the Vivo U20 was released in India with a Snapdragon 675 SoC, accompanied by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The device also features a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology support. Camera-wise, there are three cameras at the back of the device and a 16MP selfie camera.
Vivo U20: Price & Availability
This new variant of the Vivo U20 is priced at Rs. 17,990, which is slightly higher than the other two models with 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM. It will only up for grabs via authorized offline stores across India with several launch offers.
It would still be available in two colors, which are Racing Black & Blaze Blue.
Vivo U20: Features & Specifications
The handset has a 6.51-inch display with HD+ support and a water-drop notch at the top to house a selfie camera. Powering the handset is a Snapdragon 675 SoC, aided by up to 8gB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable with a microSD card). The setup is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery, which will be supported by 18W quick charging technology. In terms of software, it comes preloaded with Android 10 and FunTouchOS 9.
Camera-wise, it gets a triple camera lens cluster, which includes a 16MP Sony IMX499 main sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and an 8MP super-wide-angle snapper. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for video chats and selfies. Camera features include Super Wide Angle video mode, AR Stickers, AI, Time Lapse, 4K Video Recording, Slow-Mo, Group Selfies, Live Photos, and HDR.
Connectivity features include dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, micro-USB port an audio jack, and a fingerprint reader mounted at the back for biometric security.
