Vivo U10 To Arrive in India On September 24th; Will Support 18W Fast Charging

The Vivo U10 will be launched in India on 24 September with support for 18W fast charging solution in the online-exclusive Vivo U series.

The launch date of the Vivo U10 has been confirmed by a listing on Amazon India. According to the listing, Vivo will announce the phone at its launch event on 24 September in the country. The forthcoming device will arrive as the first phone in the U-series to come to India. Moreover, several details of the phone have also been revealed. It will come with a halo-notched screen, a front-facing camera, and support 18W quick charging solution. Its battery is claimed to offer 4.5 hours of usage with 10 minutes of charging. In addition, the Vivo U10’s price in India and designs have also been revealed in a previous leak.

Vivo has been very active in the Indian market this year. The Vivo U lineup will be the third new series launched in India in just a few months. To recall, the brand announced the online-exclusive Vivo Z series with the Vivo Z1 Pro being the first offering in the series. Last month, the China-based phone maker introduced the Vivo S1 in the country. Now, the Vivo U10 will arrive as an Amazon-exclusive smartphone across India.

Aside from that, Vivo is reportedly planning to launch a new addition to the Vivo V series in the country on 20 September. The phone will be called Vivo V17 Pro and come with two selfies camera housed in a pop-up module, which is the first in the world. It is said to be positioned in the mid-range segment and feature a 48MP main sensor in a quad-camera system on the rear. On the front, there will likely be a 6.59-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint reader. Powering the phone will be a Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor, coupled with up to 8GB RAM / 128GB of storage. Vivo will offer the Vivo V17 Pro in at least two color options around the Rs. 30,000 mark.
