Vivo S1 finally makes its way to India as the first phone in the country to feature the new Helio P65 SoC. It was initially launched in Indonesia as a mid-range smartphone. It is packed with a water-drop notch display on the front for a selfie camera. Other notable features include an on-screen fingerprint scanner and a triple camera system at the back. It will take on the likes of the Realme X, Redmi K20, and Oppo K1 in India.

Vivo S1: Price
It is retailed at Rs. 17,990 for the variant with 4GB RAM / 128GB storage, whereas the 6GB RAM / 64GB storage is offered at Rs. 18,990. The top-end option with 6GB RAM / 128GB storage will set you back by Rs. 19,990. It will go on sale from 8 August and be available in Diamond Black and Skyline Blue color variants. However, its top-end variant will not be available for purchase until September. Interested buyers can grab one via offline retailers like Poorvika, Croma, Sangeetha, Big C, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and more. As for online channels, you will have to wait until 14 August to purchase one via Vivo e-score, Amazon, and Flipkart.

As for launch offers, buyers using an HDFC Bank credit or debit card can get a cashback of 7.5 percent, while it is up to Rs. 2,500 for Paytm users. Jio users will also get several benefits that worth Rs. 10,000. If you are looking to exchange your old phone, Instacash offers you 10% additional value from them. Vivo S1: Specs & Features

The handset sports a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a water-drop notch on top. Powering the phone is an Helio P65 SoC under the hood with a Mali-G52 GPU. It packs up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Vivo also offers a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB. In terms of software, it boots Android 9 Pie with the company’s FunTouch OS 9.0 on top.

In terms of camera, it features a triple camera setup, including a 16MP Sony IMX499 main sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera housed inside the notch. Finally, a large 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support wraps up the specs list.
