Vivo S1 Pro was announced in China in May this year and it seems like the phone is finally arriving in India after all. According to a new report, the handset will come to the Indian market in mid-January next year. Even though the exact release date of the phone isn’t revealed yet, we believe that the brand should announce it in the near future. Despite being a 7-month-old smartphone, the Vivo S1 Pro is still a decent offering with a Snapdragon 675 SoC and a pop-up selfie camera as highlights. The device also packs an under-display fingerprint sensor for security and a triple camera cluster on the rear. Don’t be confused with the new version of the Vivo S1 Pro with diamond-shaped camera setup and a water-drop notched display.

The handset was priced at RMB 2,698 (around Rs. 27,400) for both models with 6GB RAM / 256GB storage and 8GB RAM / 128GB storage. However, the company should cut down the price significantly since it has already been launched for 7 months and there are a lot more good choices out there.
Vivo S1 Pro: Features & Specifications
The Vivo S1 Pro sports a 6.39-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with 1,080 x 2,340p resolution and thin bezels. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 675 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (expandable with the microSD card slot up to 256GB). In the software department, it runs Android 9 Pie out of the box with the brand’s FunTouchOS 9.2 atop. However, there is a good chance that the company might release the new FunTouchOS 10 along with the phone.
For photography, it gets a triple camera system on the rear, which includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, it uses a 32MP camera for taking selfies and video calls. Fueling the phone is a 3,700 mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging technology. Security-wise, Vivo packs it with an on-screen fingerprint reader. Connectivity features are 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port, GPS/GLONASS, and dual-band WiFi 802.11.
Vivo S1 Pro Price in India: Rs. 19,990
