Earlier this year, Vivo announced the Vivo S1 Pro with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera and a Snapdragon 675 SoC. Now, the brand announces a new model of the phone with many changes compared to the original version and that might cause confusion to users. This new version comes with a weaker Snapdragon 665 chipset, a different design, a 32MP selfie camera housed in a water-drop notch, and a quad-camera cluster at the back in a diamond-shape module.

Vivo S1 Pro: Price
The price of the S1 Pro in the Philippines is set at PHP 16,000 (roughly Rs. 22,600) for the single variant with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage. It will be up for pre-ordering in the country soon in either Knight Black or Fancy Sky hues.
We are not sure whether it will come to other markets or not, but we speculate that it won’t come to those which already have the old version.
Vivo S1 Pro: Specifications
The new Vivo S1 Pro flaunts a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a dewdrop notch that houses a 32MP selfie shooter. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner on the front for security.
At the back, it sports a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP dedicated macro camera, a 2MP depth-sensing camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle snapper with 108-degree field of view. As mentioned, the camera cluster is placed on a diamond-shaped module, similar to the Vivo S5.
The phone is driven by a Snapdragon 665 SoC, which is weaker than the Snapdragon 675 chipset on the original Vivo S1 Pro. The processor is aided by 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. For software, it ships with Android 9.0 Pie-based FunTouch Os 9.2 at launch. On the bright side, the handset is packed with a larger battery than the original version. Its 4,500mAh battery can be quickly refilled with the 18W fast charging technology.
Vivo S1 Pro Price in India: Rs. 19,990
