Vivo is set to launch its NEX 3 on 16 September and it has teased its upcoming phone for a while. The NEX 3 will feature a display with a screen-to-body ratio of 96.6 percent, as per Li Xiang, NEX product manager at Vivo. He posted this intriguing information on his Weibo account, also saying that the 99.6 percent screen-to-body ratio of the NEX 3 was determined by using the industry standard calculation method.
Also, he added the NEX 3 phone will offer the highest screen space even with the different methods. He also stated that no other smartphone will be able to provide such a high screen space in the next 6 months.

The phone seems to be just as groundbreaking as the previous phones in the NEX series have been. As is evident from the above image which the executive of the brand shared on Weibo, the phone appears to have no side bezels while the head and the chin edge are extremely thin.

As per previous teasers, leaks, and rumours, the Vivo NEX 3 will be arriving in 5G-enable and 4G-only models in the Chinese market. The phone will flaunt a 6.89-inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, coupled with up to 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage. Additionally, the handset features a big 4,500mAh cell with the support for the 44W quick charging tech. In terms of imaging capabilities, the phone features a triple rear camera setup including a 64MP primary sensor, two 13MP sensors. On the front, the phone has two 16MP pop-up front-facing cameras. Regarding the software, the handset runs FunTouch OS based on Android 9.0 Pie at launch. So far, there has been no information about the phone's pricing. But it is expected that the company will be also introducing the TWS earphones along with the Vivo NEX 3.
