Vivo has recently announced that the Vivo NEX 3 5G will debut in September though the company did not give the exact release date. Additionally, the teaser once again offers a glimpse of “Waterfall Screen” design after the first teaser announced at the beginning of this month. Simultaneously, another leaked sheet revealed several specs of the NEX 3 5G.
Regarding the teaser, the phone seems to flaunt a super curved display design, which is expected to be a unique selling proposition of the handset. The teaser’s teaser reads:
In addition to the 5G variant, hopefully, the phone will also have another non-5G variant. According to the spec-sheet, the handset will have a display with a screen-to-body ratio of up to 99.6%. Additionally, the device will be among few phones to sport a 64MP Samsung camera, which will be introduced in the upcoming Redmi Note 8 Pro within this month. In addition, the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC under the hood.
It is known that several Vivo phones appeared on CCC site with 5G connectivity and all of which impressively feature the 44W quick charging technology. In the meantime, IQOO sub-brand has already launched another Vivo 5G phone - IQOO Pro 5G.
It is absolutely interesting to know how Vivo achieves the impressive full-view display design. To recall, Vivo was also the first brand to introduce the pop-up selfie camera with APEX concept handset. So it is expected to see a breakthrough tech such as an under-display camera for the upcoming NEX 3. In addition, the company has already confirmed that the Nex 3 will flaunt a Waterfall display and a 3.5 mm audio jack. And as the brand began teasing its NEX lineup, we should not have to wait long.
