The Vivo NEX 3 finally goes official in China. The handset supports the next-generation 5G network and becomes the first non-gaming smartphone that has 5G capability.
Vivo NEX 3 5G: Price & Availability
The phone will go on sale in the upcoming months in Southeast China, Asia Pacific, and other markets. It will be available in three variants, with the most affordable one coming with a price tag of RMB 4,998 (around Rs. 50,300). The said variant will pack 8GB oF RAM, 128GB of storage, and 4G network capability only.
You can get the 5G model for RMB 5,698 (around Rs. 57,300). The top-end model with 12GB RAM / 256GB storage will require you to pay RMB 6,198 (around Rs. 62,300). User can already start pre-ordering the phone yesterday and the company will start shipping from 21 September.
Vivo NEX 3 5G: Specifications
It sports a triple camera setup with a 64MP main sensor, which makes it the first flagship phone to come with the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 64MP sensor. It is paired with a 13MP wide-angle camera and a 13MP telephoto sensor.
Just as previously leaked, the Vivo NEX comes with a stunning display that Vivo calls Waterfall FullView Display. According to the company, it’s a Super AMOLED display with 6.89 inches in size and an impressive 99.6 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The brand also uses Touch Sense on this phone, which is said to simulate the real touch of physical buttons and offer “more exquisite vibration feedback in various use cases”. Another feature that is available on the phone and it is X-Axis Haptic. The feature is claimed to offer a more comfortable vibration, applied to many aspects like games or typing.\
On the front, it has a pop-up selfie camera with 16MP resolution. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, coupled with 8/12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Finally, it packs a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging solution.
