When Vivo launched iQOO, it ships with “Monster Inside” slogan, the 44W rapid charging support, new flagship SoC and many modes for software acceleration. And now the brand unveiled a new more affordable phone named vivo iQOO Neo.
The device’s most amazing feature is that it is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood. Although the chipset was launched more than one year ago, it is still powerful enough. Additionally, the phone sports a 6.38-inch Full HD+ OLED display win in-display fingerprint sensor.
The phone maker also equips the phone with touch acceleration for its digitizer, therefore, you will hardly see any lag when using the in-game joysticks.
Apart from the processor, the phone features 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. In terms of imaging capabilities, the phone sports a triple rear camera setup including a 12MP sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP wide-angle sensor. On the front, the phone has a 12MP camera for selfies.
And as the phone is more of a gaming rig, it comes with a dedicated cooling system including 2 multi-lay graphite slating sandwiching an aluminum piece and a vapour chamber. Accordingly, the device can achieve 3°C lower temperatures than other smartphones powered by Snapdragon 845.
Since the current trend among Chinese gamers dictates performance boosters, the new iQOO Neo has Multi Turbo including Cooling Turbo, Net Turbo, Center Turbo, AI Turbo, and others.
Other specifications worth noting are Android 9.0 Pie-based FuntouchOS 9 and a big 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W vivo FlashCharge support which can power 50% the battery within 30 mins.
In addition, the phone is available in two color options including 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant priced at CNY1,798 (roughly Rs. 18,000) and an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at CNY2,298 (roughly Rs. 23,000) Those who want to buy the device can pre-order via the brand’s official online store and other big Chinese retailers and the phone’s first flash sale is set to be on 8 July.
