Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO seems to be planning to launch a new gaming-centric smartphone that might launch under the name Vivo iQOO Lite, iQOO Neo Pro, or iQOO Neo 2. The device has model number V1936A, and its launch was hinted to be imminent on a new post on Weibo. Now, the device has made its appearance on the benchmarking platform AnTuTu with an impressive benchmark score of 477,016 points. The AnTuTu listing also reveals several specs of the device, including Snapdragon 855 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and Android 9 Pie-based FunTouchOS. Moreover, we also learn from the listing that the handset’s display will have FHD+ (1,080 x 2,340p) resolution.
In the GPU, CPU, UX, and memory test on AuTuTu, the upcoming phone achieved respective scores of 176,913, 146,594, 60,266, and 93,243 points. It is likely that the phone will come with UFS 3.0 internal storage. Moreover, the Vivo V1936A got 3,516 and 11,262 points in the single-core and multi-core tests on Geekbench, respectively. Moreover, a Chinese tipster claimed that the brand is also working on a smartphone with support for 33W quick charging tech. After that, the Vivo V1936A was spotted on the 3C database with the same technology. Therefore, it is highly possible that they are just the same devices.
Even though it hasn’t been confirmed, the iQOO Neo 2 might feature a dewdrop notch on its display for a selfie camera, OLED panel, and an on-screen fingerprint reader. Under the hood, it is said to pack a 4,500 mAh battery. Unfortunately, the phone’s TENAA listing hasn’t been available yet, but we expect it to be up very soon. As the brand started releasing teasers for the phone, its launch should be just around the corner.
