As expected, Vivo will officially launch the iQOO 3 5G in India and China next week. Recently, the live image of this smartphone has been suddenly leaked online, thereby giving us a clearer view of the design, as well as its specifications right before the launch date.
The first photo seems to have been taken at a rehearsal of the launch event. Accordingly, iQOO 3 5G will be equipped with Snapdragon 865 processor, combined with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. A few days ago, the device also appeared in the database of benchmark platform Geekbench, revealing that it will come in a model with 12GB of RAM.
The iQOO 3 5G will use the Super AMOLED display Vivo calls "Polar View Display", featuring the punch-hole design with a cut-out in the upper right corner to accommodate the selfie camera. In addition, the device is also equipped with “Ergonomic Monster Touch Buttons”, an Ultra Game Mode with features like Eagle Eye Display Enhancement, 180Hz Touch Response Rate, and 4D Game Vibration.
Moving to the back, the iQOO 3 5G carries a quad-camera system on the back, including a 48MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, 13MP f / 2.2 ultra-wide-angle sensor, 8MP f / 2.2 telephoto sensor with 50mm focal length and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Meanwhile, the selfie camera placed in the punch-hole on the front of the device has a resolution of 16MP and f/2.0 aperture.
The iQOO 3 5G will come with a 4,400mAh battery, which supports 55W Super Flash Charge fast charging. In addition, the device also has Hi-Res Audio, HiFi AK4377A PA amplifier, and pre-installed iQOO UI when sold.
The phone will have three color options: Orange, Black, and Silver. However, it is not the first orange smartphone to be launched recently. Earlier, we also saw the Google Pixel 4 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G hit the market with orange color options. However, the iQOO 3 5G orange version also has some black spots located in some random positions on the back and the power button is also orange-accented.
In addition to the volume rocker on the right, the handset is also equipped with a special button on the left side. Most likely, this is a dedicated button to activate the AI virtual assistant.
As expected, Vivo will officially launch iQOO 3 5G in China and India on 25 February.
