Upcoming 5.4-Inch iPhone Will Reportedly Be Called iPhone 12 Mini

Apple is expected to officially launch the iPhone 12 series in October this year. At the same time, this might also be the first year Apple releases up to 4 iPhone models, spanning different segments.

Recently, leakster "L0vetodream" - who has fairly accurate leaks about Apple products, has just revealed the name of the upcoming iPhone 12 line on his new Tweet. Specifically, he said that the four upcoming iPhones will be called "iPhone 12 mini", "iPhone 12", "iPhone 12 Pro" and "iPhone 12 Pro Max".

Based on the screen size, it can be speculated that the iPhone 12 mini will be the name of the smallest model with a 5.4-inch screen. Meanwhile, the 6.7-inch model will be the iPhone 12 Pro Max, while the other two 6.1-inch models will be named iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.

This is actually quite a reasonable naming scheme for the upcoming iPhone 12 lineup. The use of the "Pro" and "Pro Max" suffixes follows Apple’s naming scheme for the previous generation. In addition, since the upcoming iPhone line has a total of 4 models, Apple may use four different names to help users distinguish more easily.
