Chinese company ZTE has just announced a new addition to its mobile phone portfolio dubbed ZTE Blade A7. The smartphone is launched in the budget segment with a water-drop notched display, a MediaTek octa-core processor, and a gradient finish.

ZTE Blade A7: Price

The new ZTE Blade A7 comes with a price of CNY 599 (around Rs. 6,100) for the base variant with 2GB of RAM / 32GB of internal storage. The model with 3GB of RAM / 64GB of storage will be priced at CNY 699 (around Rs. 7,100). ZTE will begin the shipment of the phone from 17 May in its home market China and interested consumers can choose to buy the phone in three color variants, including Star Black, Night Black, and Sea Blue. The availability and price of the handset in the Indian market are unknown for now.
ZTE Blade A7: Specs & Features
The ZTE Blade A7 sports a 6-inch TFT panel with HD+ (720 x 1,560p) resolution and a water-drop notch on the front. The phone comes with a noticeable chin at the bottom and bezels wrapping around its display. Ticking at its core is an MTK Helio P60 SoC, clubbed with up to 64GB of storage and 3GB RAM. The storage can be further expanded using a microSD card.

In terms of camera, the handset comes with a single 16MP camera with support for AI scene recognition on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture up front for taking selfies, video call and Face Unlock feature. Powering the phone is a 3,200 mAh battery with support for 5V/1.5A charging technology. It doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and that means the only option left is the Face Unlock feature. Its connectivity options are dual SIM, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and OTG support. It measures 154 x 72.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs 146g.
