The Vivo S1 is one of the upcoming Vivo smartphones that are expected to make its debut in India in August. The handset sports a 6.38-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED panel with an on-screen fingerprint reader. Notably, it is the first phone in the world to be powered by the new Helio P65 SoC. The processor is paired with up to 4GB of RAM / 128GB of storage. In terms of camera, it comes with triple rear cameras -- 16MP Sony IMX 499 sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. For selfies and video chats, it is equipped with a 32MP selfie camera. Fueling the entire setup is a massive 4,500 mAh battery.
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019
The latest mid-range smartphone from Huawei, the Y9 Prime 2019 will be announced in the country on 1 August. The handset will be powered by a Kirin 710 SoC, coupled with 4GB oF RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. However, the most notable feature in the phone is its pop-up selfie camera. It is also the first phone from the brand to feature the design. In the pop-up module, there is a 16MP camera for taking selfies and video calling. At the back, it ships with a triple camera setup, including a 16MP main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP depth-sensing unit. Fueling the handset will be a 4,000 mAh battery.
Honor 9X
Honor 9X is one of the two smarthones that have just launched in China recently. The handset was announced alongside the Honor 9X Pro with a pop-up selfie camera. Powering the phone is a Kirin 810 octa-core processor, accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM / 256GB of storage. It sports a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED panel. For selfies and video chats, it is equipped with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. At the back, there is a dual camera setup, including a 48MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Software-wise, it boots Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1 on top to take care of the software side of things. Finally, a 4,000mAh battery wraps up the specs list.
Samsung Galaxy M30s
Galaxy M30s is one of the upcoming additions to the Galaxy M series from Samsung. The handset is expected to come with a Samsung’s Exynos 9610 SoC and 4GB RAM. On the front, there should be an Infinity-V screen, though the size is currently unknown. Software-wise, it will ship with Samsung’s OneUI, which is based on Android 9 Pie. LG W30 Pro
LG already announced the LG W series for the Indian market with LG W10, W20, and W30 smartphones. In addition, the brand is expected to launch the LG W30 Pro until August. LG hasn’t revealed many details regarding the phone’s specs and features. However, we have learned that the phone will likely draw power from a Snapdragon 632 octa-core processor and pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Design-wise, the handset might feature a water-drop notch display just like its sibling LG W30.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite are the two latest Android One smartphones from the brand. The Mi A3 is equipped with a 6.08” AMOLED panel with HD+ resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Software-wise, it ships with a stock version of Android 9 Pie. In terms of camera, the phone has a triple camera lens setup at the back - a 48MP sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfie duties. Finally, it is fueled by a 4,035 mAh battery with 18W fast charging solution.
ASUS ROG Phone II
ASUS has just announced its latest gaming-centric smartphone dubbed ROG Phone II, which is expected to come to India next month. As you may know, the ROG Phone II is the world’s first handset to be driven by the newly-launched Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. The processor is backed by up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage. On the front, it comes with a 6.59” FHD+ AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. At the back, it features two cameras which are a 48MP primary shooter and a 13MP secondary camera. For taking selfies and video calling, it is equipped with a 24MP shooter. Fueling the phone is a whopping 6,000 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.
