Three Realme X Smartphones To Launch In China In May, Realme X Pro Unveiled Later

Realme plans to bring its Realme X series including Realme X, Realme X Lite, and Realme X Pro to the Chinese market in the upcoming May, but the Pro variant will debut later.

With the success in the Indian market, Realme now plans to enter China in the coming time. Previously, rumour has it that the company will unveil two devices at least in this country, but it now seems to introduce up to three handsets in China, dubbed Realme X Pro, Realme X Lite and Realme X.

A Weibo user recently revealed some detailed information about this upcoming Realme smartphones. Accordingly, these handsets but the Realme X Pro are set to debut in this May while the Pro version will be unveiled later. The tipster also added that the upcoming X Lite smartphone will be similar to Realme 3 Pro recently unveiled in the Indian market.
Regarding the specifications, as per the leaks, the standard model will come with a Snapdragon 730 chipset under the hood. In addition, it is expected to be available in different memory variants including 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. These variants will have respective price tags of CNY1,599 (Rs. 16,500 roughly), CNY1,799 (Rs. 18,500 roughly), and CNY1,999 (Rs. 20,500 roughly). Additionally, the handset is said to sport a display with no notch, Gorilla Glass protective layer, and a 6th-generation on-screen fingerprint sensor. In terms of imaging capabilities, the device features a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 48MP primary sensor and a 5MP sensor.

Meanwhile, the Realme X Pro will appear as a slightly upgraded variant of standard model. Accordingly, this handset is powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC under the hood. Regarding the pricing, it is said to be priced at around CNY2,299 (Rs. 23,500 roughly).
It is known that Realme X series smartphones were spotted on TENAA before under the codenames of RMX1901 and RMX1851. While the former likely belongs to the phone, the latter is tipped to be Realme 3 Pro that will be marketed as the Realme X Lite.
