According to a recent report by MacRumors, Apple will launch four new iPhone 12 models this year. Earlier, there were reports suggesting how many new iPhones Apple would launch, and a source said that Apple could launch up to six iPhone 12 models.

However, the source of MacRumors seems to be the most reliable. Accordingly, Apple will launch three new iPhones succeeding the iPhone 11 models last year, and there will be a new iPhone model with a smaller display (could be iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9).
The upcoming iPhone 12 series will include a 6.7-inch iPhone succeeding the iPhone 11 Pro Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone succeeding the iPhone 11 Pro and another 6.1-inch iPhone succeeding the iPhone 11. All new iPhone models will all be equipped with OLED screens.
Thus, there will be two 6.1-inch iPhones equipped with OLED screens. So how will Apple distinguish between them?
The answer lies in the rear camera cluster and RAM capacity. The source said that the higher-end 6.1-inch iPhone model will be equipped with three rear cameras with a 3D sensor and 6GB RAM. Apple's new iPhone models will be categorized as follows:
- iPhone 6.7 inch: There are three rear cameras with a 3D sensor and 6GB RAM.
- iPhone 6.1 inches: There are three rear cameras with a 3D sensor and 6GB RAM.
- iPhone 6.1 inches: Has two rear cameras and 4GB RAM.
- iPhone 5.4 inches: Has two rear cameras and 4GB RAM.

The source also believes that both Apple's new iPhone models will support 5G. The new 3D sensor will also support AR apps more effectively and improve camera performance.
