Sony Xperia XZ4, Xperia XA3, Xperia L3 Tipped To Be Introduced On February 25

Sony was not really active in introducing its new phones in the recent CES event. The Japanese giant phone maker has just sent out invites for its event at the MWC 2019 on 25 February in Barcelona. It is expected to unveil its mid-range and flagship phones at the said event, including the Xperia L3 and Xperia XA3, which were previously expected to be unveiled at the CES event. In addition, a fresh leak has also revealed the design of the Xperia XZ4.

According to GizChina’s report, Sony has started sending out invites for its event at the Mobile World Congress event to the Italian and Russian tech media channels. The invite does not reveal any details, and it only shows a smartphone’s profit. However, it’s speculated that Sony will be announcing the Xperia XA3, Xperia XA3 Ultra, Xperia L3 and Xperia XZ4 at the said event.

According to previous leaks, the Xperia XZ4 is expected to come with a tall 6.55-inch display with an aspect ratio of 21:9. The handset will be likely to come packed with the recently-launched Snapdragon 855 processor and have a USB-C port as well as a headphone jack. It will be backed by a 3,900 mAh battery under the hood.

There has also been quite a few case renders of the Sony Xperia XZ4 surfaced online and they seemed to confirm the tall display and the aspect ratio of 21:9. The cases also reveal that the handset will come with a dual rear camera setup with a dual-LED flash and a selfie camera on the front with a single-LED flash.

The Sony Xperia XA will likely come with a Snapdragon 660 processor along with 6GB RAM/64GB storage. The handset is expected to feature a 5.9-inch display with a 1,080 x 2,160 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. On the other hand, the Xperia XA3 Ultra will sport a 6.5-inch display with a 1,080 x 2,160 pixels resolution with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Finally, the Xperia L3 will most likely to feature a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 1,440 x 720 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor and a 3,400 mAh battery. It is also expected to come with a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 13MP main sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor.

The Sony event is scheduled at 8:15 am CET or 12:45 pm IST on 25 February and it will take place in MWC 2019 in Barcelona.
